This cache has been replaced and moved a short distance from the
original. A few feet off of trail and may be steep for some.
During the summer months, Todd Lake is a fee area that includes a
picnic/swimming area (currently $4 per car) and a campground ($12
per night). Or, you can hike to the Todd Lake Trail from the
Trimble Mountain Trail or from Leading Ridge Road. Todd Lake Trail
goes all the way around the lake--enjoy it all, as the scenery
changes around each turn. On part of the trail you can observe
flood level indicators and from the paved road below the dam you
can still see evidence of the big flood of November,
1985.
