Geocache Description:

Old ski area with great views. Be ready for a clime.

This cache is best suited to those who are part mountain goat. One can drive to within 0.22 miles of the cache, at 770 feet above sea level. The cache is at 1,004 feet. But the views are worth it! Bring a good compass to establish bearings and binoculars. First several pages of the log book list various things to look at and give a short history of the site.

For those who are good at orienteering, alternate (but longer) routes to the top will avoid scaling the hillside.

Coordinates are to center of clearing. Cache is offset a bit to the side of the clearning.
