Vancouver Decachelon is a multi-stage series of caches, brought to you by the eleven members of the Decachelon Team. Each cache in the series contains a clue. Collect all the clues and you just might find yourself on the winner's podium.
It's been hit by lightning, plugged with rocks, short-circuited, silenced by work stoppages and even (briefly) stolen but Vancouver's famed old Nine O'Clock Gun has — as faithfully as circumstances have allowed — boomed out the time of day from its home in Stanley Park for 107 years now. **Please note that the cache is NOT located near the gun, but within view of it.** The difficulty rating is based on intense muggle traffic, especially in the summer. Please replace EXACTLY where you found it. It is a very specific location. Plus you may need to bring some tweezers to retrieve the log. :) Prior to be moved to its present location, this cache was listed as "Vancouver Decachelon - Bramble Scramble".
