Note: The container is not at the cache coordinates nor is it the letterbox in the stone wall. Read the description to figure out how to find the container.
This cache was originally hidden in the Twin Bridge Park in Merrimack, NH to celebrate the buying of the original CO's first home nearby all the way back in 2003! Cache container is on the smaller side so please trade small items.
You can make this hike as long or as short as you wish. The cache is only a short distance from parking, but you may want to wander around the trails if you have the time. There is a trail-map behind the playground, most of the trails are dead ends but they bring you by some interesting spots.
Once at the geocache coordinates (which should be the base of fallen over large dead tree), go 95 feet at a bearing of 292 degrees. The listed cache coordinates are not the location of the container you will need to project a waypoint to find the container which is nearby.
For help on doing a projection check out page or you can use the http://www.geolifeline.com/projection.php tool.
The GZ is very visible from some heavily traveled trails so please use some stealth to keep this old cache in place and still available for folks to find.
Once found, please re-hide the cache container carefully in its hiding place as this is "oldie but goodie" and by hiding it carefully and doing so out of sight of muggles it will hopefully last many more years without being muggled. Please don't post any pictures in your log that would give away the hide. Thanks!
