Geocache Description:

Answer questions below to get actual coordinates.
Fairly Easy to find once you have the right path and you will succeed.
The GPS coverage gets spotty as you get close so your geosenses maybe needed.

This is a Coin Cache....
It started off with a bunch of State Quarters, Kennedy half, Sacajawea Dollar...
Have you started your collection yet?
Bring a state quarter to trade as well as your State Quarter collection book.
It is a small container, so keep the traded items small if you don't have a coin to trade.
Coin Collecting is a good hobby for kids to start.

You need some information to get the correct coordinates.

1-Find Coordinates N 46° 02.251 W 122° 53.605 (location of wind turbine)

2-You will need to find the wind speed required to make the turbine turn. (The old Wind Turbine is gone now - use 8 MPH for this portion.)

3-Add 50 to the speed then add your new total to the cache latitude coordinates. N 46° 02.___

4-Look on the East side of the old visitors building and find out how high the cooling tower is? (The visitors center is now gone, so the cooling tower was 499 feet tall.)

5-Subtract 69 from the height and then add that to the cache longitude coordinates W 122° 53.___

Good Luck!!!!
