The cache is located where the old Abandoned CN Rail Line and Portage P-730 from Kioshkokwi Lake to Little Mink Lake intersect in the North end of Algonquin Provincial Park.
Cache Elevation: 314 meters
Accesable by water or land, expect a trip of approximately 3.5km in from the Kiosk Campground area.
Enter the CN Rail trail at: N46 05.371 W78 52.563
Enter Kioshkokwi Lake at N46 05.331 W78 52.539
Here's a good waypoint for your travels: N46 05.313 W78 51.520
This is where the rail line crosses over the lake, bring your fishing rod, as this place is a popular location!
If you are attempting this cache from the South East, (Little Mink Lake) Please resist the temptation to ride the rapids down to the cache... You may survive the river, but the portage trail is a much safer alternative! Once you find the trestle bridge, head to the North West side and follow the trail down. Take a break in the shade and admire the rapids, now head back up... Take a peek underneath where the concrete meets the steel! The cache is a camouflage painted .30-cal ammo can filled with mostly camping related geocache items.
Continue on (By Canoe) to Mink Lake for some nice Waterfalls:
