Geocache Description:

This Cache brings you to the end Pittsburgh’s Historic South Side. It is located along a trail following the Monongahela River. The trail is new and paved; people bike, walk, and roller blade on it.

This Cache is located on what was once the LTV South Side Works. This site was once one of the famous steel mills of Pittsburgh. What was once crawling with hard working Steel Workers is now Prowling with Fierce Cats and Pittsburgh's beloved Men of Steel. Along the trail you can still see some left over ingots of steel or slag (not sure which). This site is located along the shoreline of the Monongahela River. It offers some real nice scenery. The cache itself is a small Rubbermaid container. In it are some neat trinkets. We hope that everyone enjoys this cache.
