The cache is located in a remote but easily accessable location. Please read the cache description carefully before attempting this cache.
Cache is located on private property near a road in cattle country. The location is quite some distance from the nearest town on a dirt road that is infrequently used. The road crossed some creeks and rivers which may be unpassable after heavy rain although most of the time the road is easily handled by cars even at high speed. Take sufficient fuel and water for your journey. Mobile phone reception is basically non-existant. Beware of cattle, kangaroos, emus and other wildlife on the roads particularly at dusk. Note well that roads in this area all pass through the middle of private property. Do NOT leave the major roads as you will be trespassing.
This cache is located a very short distance from a road. You do not need to go cross country or leave the main road to find this cache. The cache is located on a property called "Chesspark" although it is located very close to a cattle grid separating this property from "Redbank".
The cache is located where "the old coach road" meets the current council road. The old coach road was used by Cobb&Co. horse drawn coaches in yesteryear. Parts of the road are still used but other sections are over growen. The local council preserves these coach roads by marking their course with survey pegs. The cache is located between "the R5 sheild tree" and one of these square survey pegs. It is under a pile of rocks to protect it from the elements. Can visitors please keep it covered and add a few more rocks to the pile (best source of rocks is across the road near the cattle grid). It's not to hard to imagine how the place must have looked 50 to 100 years ago with horse drawn coaches traveling the roads.
Please do not venture past the shield tree down the coach road. This road is on private property and the owners have not given permission for anybody to travel this road. Thank-you for respecting their wishes.
