There are many historical markers along the waterfront, but this one is especially interesting. The view from this cache, (other than the houses on the hills), is probably not that much different from back when the events mentioned in this cache happened.
I was in town for Wrestlemania. (I'm a geocacher *AND* a wrestling fan... I'm a DOUBLE GEEK!!) 
While on a nice morning jaunt, I found this interesting spot along the waterfront walk. This spot had a big effect on the development of Seattle.
To "find" this cache, answer the following questios via email. Please... No "give aways" in your log. Thanks!!
1: What happend on this spot, and what did that simple event escalate into??
2: What was the name of the vessel involved??
3: What was the name of this place back then??
4: In what year, and on what special day, was this marker dedicated??
PLEASE NOTE: Apparently, there is another marker very close to the cache marker, because I have gotten a few wrong answers. All of the wrong answers are the same. It can be tricky, because the answers to the wrong plaque fit the answers to the cache. When looking for the right marker, please note the name of the cache. Thanks!!!
