Geocache Description:

At the Bald Eale Lake Outlet. This cache is Winter Friendly.

Contents: Log, Pencil, and a new first finders reward.

Water flows north out of Bald Eagle Lake, and creates a stream that is part of the Rice Creek Watershed. The water in this stream eventually makes its way west and joins the Mississippi River in Fridley Minnesota.
Late in 2015 the failing dam was replaced by a weir. This structure holds back water but lets the lake maintain a constant level.

There is often a great deal of fishing activity in this location. Being discreet will be challenging. Pay attention to the many no parking signs. Parking is available about two blocks west of the cache. Watch small childeren near the lake and stream.
