I see a lot of people complain about finding loose change in
caches. Well, my 5 year old son gets really excited when he finds
loose change in caches...that seems to be one of his favorite
things to find.
Located in Glen Williams on a Halton Hills Trail, which I
believe used to be an old rail line. I discovered this trail while
driving by a couple weeks ago and took the time today to check it
out and hopefully bring others to this trail too. Trail entrance
sign is at N 43° 39.709 W 079° 56.070 on Wildwood Rd and makes for
a nice short hike. When you leave the trail to find the cache, be
careful as there may be a lot of overgrowth in the area.
Cache container is a very small Philadelphia cream cheese
container inside of a ziplock back (you can use this ziploc for
overflow of change, if there is no room in container). Originally
it contained GeoCoin #255 and some other small trinkets.
So now is your chance to get rid of your loose change in
your pocket and leave it in the marked ziplock bag of this cache.
All loose change collected will go to a good cause or be used to
make bigger and better cache trade items. If you have any
suggestions on what you would like it to go towards, feel free to
indicate it in the log.
In order to log this as a find, you
must leave some loose change in this
cache, no matter how little...makes sense, considering the name of
this geocache.
Statistics
The Loose Change from this cache went to to some good
causes.
Have fun and enjoy this trail and the area. If you walk a little
further and take the paths into the fields on the left, you will
see some nice views. Also, while placing this cache and then
walking on the trail, we saw 5 rabbits in total within about 20
minutes. We had a fun day in hiding this cache.
Also, you might want to write down the 3 letters, in order, that
you find on the inside of the lid of the cache container. You will
need it to find the final location of cache GCE446 (Halton Hills
Trail Math).
