A beautiful place in the Eifel
Kreuz im Venn (Cross in the Venn (Venn=Moor))
This cache is only a virtual one - it is located inside a natural preservation area and it is a place of silence and religious worship.
It is a public place and photographing is allowed.
The reward is a realy impressive place and a great view on the Eifel Landscape.
To go there, take the Bus (Line 85) to bus stop 'Gut Reichenstein'.
If you go by car, park it at 50 deg 32.149 min north, 6 deg 11.968 min east.
From the bus stop or the parking lot it is about 1 km to the place.
Go upstairs and across the bridge. Stand beside the cross and enjoy a fantastic view on the Eifel landscape.
Take a candle with you and place it besides the other candles.
To log your visit, take a photo of the cross and upload it with your log.
Kreuz im Venn
Das Kreuz im Venn liegt in einem Naturschutzgebiet und es ist ein Ort der Stille und religioeser Andacht. Aus diesem Grund ist es nur ein virtueller Cache.
Am besten faehrst Du mit dem Bus (Linie 85) bis zur Haltestelle 'Gut Reichenstein'. Wenn Du mit dem Auto kommst, kannst Du es bei 50 Grad 32.149 Min Nord, 6 Grad 11.968 Min Ost parken. Von der Haltestelle oder dem Parkplatz sind es ca. 1 km bis zum Kreuz im Venn.
Vom Kreuz hast Du eine grossartige Aussicht ueber die Eifel. Gehe einfach die Treppe hoch und ueber die Bruecke.
Nimm eine Kerze mit und stelle sie zu den anderen Kerzen.
