Geocache Description:

A virtual cache along Hong Kong Island's waterfront that's a bit off the usual tourist path.

To give away too many details would be a spoiler for this cache, so I won't say too much, except that it's a location with a bit of offbeat Hong Kong history, and is famously cited in the Noel Coward book that this cache shares its name with. For maximum enjoyment of this cache, I suggest visiting just before midday!

At the cache site, there is a couple of signs, one of which includes the line "Charitable Funds Raised Since xxxx" in bold type. For verification of your visit, email me the year that's missing from the above sentence. Don't post your answer in your log, even if encrypted.

Note 03-Oct-08: I figured this would go without saying. But since this cache was hidden in 2003 some geocachers have taken a different, extremely loose interpretation of the rules. Let me be clear: virtual visitors are not welcome here. Caches in the urban center of Hong Kong are scarce and extremely difficult to maintain, so for many short-time visitors to HK this is the only cache they bag. It's not fair to "virtually log" the same cache that someone else may have travelled thousands of miles to find. Such logs will be deleted without warning.
