Stumped In Honey Bee Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

GeoDesertTiger: I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. We will be happy to un-archive this cache when it is replaced (within 90 days/15 April 2012) and meets the guidelines.

Geocache Description:

This is the third Honey Bee Park cache. We sort of split the difference, so you can get a great half-day of hunting after parking in one place. The walk is easy, but it's on sand. The cache location may be pretty obvious, but getting to the actual spot is trickier than it looks! Please be careful not to destroy the vegetation!

This is a cache to carry on the tradition we started in Redmond, WA and Whistler, BC. If you read up on our caches, you'll find the theme.

We're here visiting family in Tucson, and they've agreed to look out for the cache for us. We'll be back each year, so we should be able to follow up too.

The cache is in a waterproof ammo-type box (though not an actual ammo box.) We always stock our caches with really good stuff, and this is no exception. Here's a list of what we put in there to start:

2 "Bag O' Animals"
2 "Bag O' Soldiers"
7 Bouncy Balls
1 Leatherman-like tool
1 Brass Emergency Whistle
1 Hot Wheels Car
1 Rumble Robots Trading Card Set
1 VERY Sharp Pocket Knife (Adults only please)
3 Garbage bags (in case you see any garbage you need to pack out)
1 Emergency Blanket
1 Travel Bug - Historical Polly

We also left a single-use camera. Please take a photo of yourself and your caching companions!

Happy hunting!

NOTE: Please do not go straight up the side of the canyon to get to the cache. There is an easy walk up a wash immediately adjacent to the location. We've had a report of the side of the canyon being damaged from traffic to find the cache. Please do your best to preserve the area! Thanks!
