There is parking at several points along this stretch of one of Britain’s sandiest, cleanest, best maintained and popular beaches. I would suggest parking at N50 42.817 W001 53 358 where it’s 0.7 miles to the cache or at N50 42.415 W001 54.511 from where the cache is approximately 0.3 miles.
For a more challenging day beachside caching you could start at Striders’ Headland Cache at Hengistbury Head and walk the full length of the beach to Sandbanks, taking this one in about mid way.
There are several cafes, bars and restaurants along this stretch where you can duck in for something warming or cooling depending on the weather.
The cache is a beaker size tupperware container.
There is some tree cover just above the cache so you may need the clue, although the usual “where would I put it approach” will also work. The cache is near some bench seating so considerable discretion may sometimes be necessary to avoid giving away the location.
