Geocache Description:

A micro-cache with a Canadian theme.

I like the idea of having micro caches in places that are deep in the woods instead of in ``urban'' locations. This cache is in a neat natural area of the superb Starkey Wilderness Park. There are two newer and two older caches in this area, so you can make an afternoon of it if you haven't done them all yet.

The cache is a small tube with a log scroll and pencil (but bring your own pen/pencil just in case). Sign the log, and if you'd like, trade an item along with the theme of the cache...our neighbors to the North: Canada.

The cache is hidden in an interesting oasis-like spot that I saw on an aerial photograph and visited. Wildlife is abundant here...I saw ducks, armadillos, birds, and several VERY tame deer.

There is reportedly a gator in the oasis, so keep your eyes and ears open! Don't let children or pets roam near water or tall grass.

Initial contents were Canadian coins: a 25 cent, a 5 cent, and several 1 cent.

Please re-hide and secure the cache so that it's there for future visitors to find.
