Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a city park in Manila, one of the biggest parks in the country.

The park features a monument bearing the remains of the national hero. Within the park, you will also find a Japanese and Chinese gardens, playgrounds and a lagoon showing a miniature map of the Philippines. An Orchidarium receives daily streams of visitors to delight in the exotic orchids and foliage. The Butterfly Pavilion within allows the visitor to stroll along with a variety of exotic butterflies hovering around. There is no fee to enter the park.

A lagoon in the park is surrounded by busts of revolutionary heroes who fought for freedom as far back as the early colonization of the Spaniards in the 1500's. This virtual cache is the bust of a brave Muslim ruler who resisted the Spaniards after refusing an offer of 'friendship', ending in a battle that caused his life and 300 of his warriors.

To authenticate your find, please answer the following questions:

1. Who is the person depicted by the bust?

2. Directly 100 feet to the north of the cache is a plaza where people congregate to play a game. What is this game?

3. What is the shape of the lagoon next to the cache?

Please email your answers to me at zackc@sbcglobal.net. With your correct answers to the questions, you can then post your find after you receive my confirmation.
