GPSlooney: Helaas kom ik er niet toe deze cache op korte termijn nieuw leven in te blazen, daar ik op dit moment nauwelijks in de Biesbos kom. Volgende cache komt weer bij mij in de buurt.

Relocation of the Biesbosch Beaver Cache, still only reacheable by boat. Cache is now located directly nearby an official track.
After two years absence he's back: The Biesbosch Beaver Cache. We had to remove the stash on request of the State Forest Rangers, since the area, the old cache was located, was given back to nature. The location of the cache had become unreacheable because the surroundings slowly filling up with water. New location, better place. The contents of the cache are unchanged. The stash is located near the walking track of the wetlands near "Het brugje van St Jan". Again this cache was put away during an overnight-weekend canoeing trip with some die-hards of the HKC kayak club, just “enjoying” themselves with ice-covered water of the area during winter-time. The coordinates were calculated with the help of a Garmin eVista. Accuracy during sampling was around 6 meters. For those who don’t own a canoe, you can hire one at the harbour of “Visserhank” or “Drimmelen” (Watch out if you start in Drimmelen, there is a rather dangerous crossing to make of a riverpart called “De Amer”). The container is a black bucket with former orange, now white sticker on it shouting : GEOCACHE Biesbosch Beaver Stash.
