This is a small cache located in Charles Sauriol Conservation
Area and is part of a larger multi-cache project called Parking
on the Credit. You should log this cache as normal, but be
sure to get the cache secret to participate in the multi-cache. The
secret for this cache is located on the inside of the cache
lid.
This conservation area is not likely to be found on your maps
and is only accessible via trails. The closest access point for the
cache is at N43°50.474 by W80°01.108 (Alton Side Trail). You should
follow the blue markers which will take you right to the cache. It
is roughly a 1.5 kilometer hike (3 kilometer round trip).
The cache container is a clear tupperware type container (8" x
5" x 3") with a blue lid. Please ensure that the lid is fully
seated when you are finished.
Please be cautious of the nearby Credit River.
The Parking
on the Credit cache project:
From it's headwaters near Orangeville to the mouth at Port
Credit, this multi-cache will take you through the multiple parks
that dot the Credit River.
Each stage is a standalone cache and may be treated as such. If
you wish to find the final
cache, you must collect the secret from each of the stage
caches (any order, just note which cache the secret came from).
