This cache is located near the Ken Whillans Resource Management
Area (parking at: N43° 48.779, W79° 55.978) and was, up until just
recently, part of a multi-cache project called 'Parking on the
Credit'. The project has been retired after a successful run.
Thanks to 1701eh for creating it and allowing me to be a part of it
by placing this cache. This stage will remain as a stand-alone
cache and hopefully remain as popular as the original project.
The cache container is located a short ways off of the Caledon
Rail Trail and no bushwacking is required. It is a Winter friendly
hike and no special equipment is required although snowshoes can be
utilized.
The cache container is a 1 gallon plastic jar with a screw-top
opening (not large enough for a CD) and is painted camouflage
green. Please ensure that the lid is fully tightened when you are
finished. Please be cautious of the nearby Credit River and stay
off the ice.
