Geocache Description:

It has been a long time since I have visited this cache, thanks to many whom take time to make this cache live on.

This cache is located in a unique area frequently visited by locals. The quest will take you to the farthest areas to be explored in this region. Motorized vehicles are prohibited. Bringing a mountain bike would make this trip faster, or it can be walked if you are looking for a lot of exercise.

This cache was updated by Bison in February 2005. Cache is now a black ammo can, and it has a log book and pen, plus some new items.

The parking area can be found by traveling on US 1 to mile marker 17, turn south and go about 3 miles where the road turns a hard right. You may park there, around the corner. There is a barrier located here where the real adventure begins. Just walk around it and start to follow the roads and trails. Plan to spend some time enjoying the quiet nature and getting a bit of exercise. We recommend you bring along some bug spray and drinking water. There is a great bridge that local folks like to jump from and swim in the cool clear water below, so bring along a change of clothes as well.

The cache has two travel bugs (Toddler Toad & the Love Bug)and assorted items. There is no log book or pen in this cache so just log your visit on the geo site (and maybe leave a pen/book behind).

The area is visited often by locals. Please be careful to be discreet and don't disturb the area to much.
