Geocache Description:

NEW BOULDER FOUND!!! Lot No. 33 located at N 42 38.586, W 70 39.574. Czech it Out!!! This is a multi cache. You will be searching for boulders with sayings and such carved into them. Please read the information below.

4-17-09 Update: We went back out to the cache and replaced the container with a new one. We also added a bunch of new goodies to the cache! Happy hunting! Dogtown Commons: Mostly, (99%) you are searching for boulders with sayings carved into them. One of the coordinates provided is for the Cache! The Cache contains a toy jeep, toy boat (say that 10 times fast), a toy train, koosh ball and some fun stickers! This cache may take more than one trip to find them all, but it is well worth it. In the winter it is fun because some of the boulders are covered with snow, so you really have to look hard! If you go in the snow, we recommend your bring a small whisk broom to clear the snow! PLEASE NOTE: To find the boulders with the N 42 .37___ coordinates, you will have to follow the railroad tracks for about 400-500 feet before you get to the trail on the .37 side if you park on the lots with the N 42 38__ coordinates and there is no trail or safe refuge if a train comes. If you have small children, please use parking #2 N 42 37.676 W 070 39.202 and locate the 42 37.___ boulders, then go to the other parking to locate the remainder. The terrain on the .37 side is a bit steep and not recommended for small children. The remainder of the boulders are on good trails which are safe for children. Also, be of mind that there are ruins of basements and wells and you should not allow your children to go too close to them. (Call us overprotective cachers, but the child cachers of today are the cache hiders of tomorrow!) Please feel free to email us with any questions you have about this cache. And definitely let us know if you find any boulders not on our list. You will note on the chart that we have Lot Numbers listed and Letters with no coordinates. We have not found these yet, but put them on the list in case you find them. If you do, let us know!!We have gone back (4/20 and 4/21) and rechecked the coordinates and feel we have them pretty close now. We are attaching 2 Word document2 with the boulders and coordinates. Happy Hunting. January 17, 2008-Hi Folks, some cachers have written to state they cannot open the docs with the coords. We will work on reloading them but in the meantime, if you want the charts with boulder names and numbers, with their coordinates, please email us and we will send them to you. Hard to believe this cache has been going strong for 5 years!
