It's a lovely walk under trees, particularily pleasant in summer...
It's an easy walk wich will take you an hour to climb to the cross.
And the view is absolutely marvelous (look at the picture - took in
winter )
You have to go to the village called "Portes-en-Valdaine", by the
road from "La Touche", to the south.
When you crossed the village (short, take care) take the first road
on your right. You will see a lovely church, then continue until a
"rose" big house, by a road with two "turns". There, you will see a
small terrain, where you park, just before a ground road.
Take this road by walk, and climb a little.
Don't follow the "Gites", but continue strait ahaid, you will see
some signals named "La Croix".. follow it!!
Then, when you meet a small way climbing strongly, follow it for
half an hour if you are not a bad walker.
Then, you'll meet a "T" at the top... Follow the direction that the
GPS tells you!!! Continue 50 m... whoauh!!!! What a beautiful
view!!!! The cache is near the cross (5m South, 1m West) you have
to search the coordonates are not the exact place, we change the
box and the emplacement on august 2005. I'm sorry for all errors i
made... In english.. :-(
