Where’s Red??

We went out and walked the ground in the daylight and planned the route, then we went out and planted the markers in the dark and then we went back out and ran the lines at night to make sure the markers could be seen. We used a cheap little two “D” cell flashlight and a three “D” cell mag light. Both worked fine and we could see the markers.
To start, Head for the above cords and there is a great parking spot, one of our main criteria for this cache. At the posted numbers, you should be standing next to a large
Ponderosa Pine tree. Your first marker will be the hardest to find as it is close to a road and as we did not want accidental finds for it, we placed it about 50 some yards off the road. Which way? That is for you to decide. Bigeddy will have the advantage on this hunt over the rest of us vertically challenged persons. You need to find a white glow and away you go. Your first marker should let you know what style, and order, of marker your looking for. The darker the better for this hunt. Kids and dogs welcome. Just be careful of where you are walking.
The total hike from tree to cache is 0.51 mile and back to your rig should be no more then 0.70 miles round trip total. The cache container is an old ammo can, watch yourself Mr. Snazz and do not get hurt. The container will start off with : Umbrella; Dice; Scented Pens; “Lord of the Rings” buttons; Pez; Mickie Mouse & Roo key chain things; and a bag of Balloons.
