Geocache Description:

This one is real easy to find. Take a tour if you desire-it is not required.

Sorry for the long delay in updating the cache listing. I returned from Iraq in October due to medical problems that occurred while I was in Iraq. All is well, thanks to everyone for their support of the Kansas Army National Guard and more importantly - Any and All Soldier, Sailors, Airmen and Marines guarding this Great Country.

The aircraft in question has quite the history. It does not list the accomplishments it has endured but it holds 14 world records in various areas such as longest endurance flight and highest altitude. I am a member of one of the units that used to fly one of these very dependable and durable aircraft. We now use a more advanced aircraft that has more room and greater speeds as well as being more mission capable. If you stay long enough, you may see us up flying around.

I have been driving past this museum for about 1 year now and kept thinking it would make for a nice virtual cache.

Take a walk around a view the other aircraft to get a history lesson on the various aircraft. When you complete your tasks, take a ride up the street and around the corner to the Combat Air Museum, featuring some really interesting aircraft that is really worth visiting. It costs a few bucks to get in but worth the money.

To claim credit for this cache there are three items you must EMAIL to me. First, what are the numbers (found on the tail in large black numbers) of this aircraft? Second, there is a white sticker on the left and right sides of the aircraft behind the front doors, what is the last word in the on that sign? Third, Inside the aircraft is a metal sign that offers a description of the aircraft, who is the aircraft on loan from (Unit) (You can also locate this information on the post near the aircraft)?
