An easy virtual cache you can reach via roads and trails. The coordinates are the location of the original answer to the first questions posed in 2002. With more than 1,000 finds, the best place to start your cache is in the parking lot.
Since the NPS doesn't like physical caches, this one is virtual. We've had some confusion on how to log the cache, so we have updated instructions below.
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS! A large number of geocachers have neither answered, nor posted, questions. It's gotten worse recently. If you do not answer the previous questions, or do not post new questions, you MAY NOT claim this cache!
Here's how it works:
1. Read the cache log below and find the most recent questions asked. If the last person didn't ask questions, then keep going back until you find some you can answer. Since you may have to go back several months to find the last questions, I'll start you off with 2 easy ones from August 2023: 1. Is there a public restroom near the beginning of the trail? 2. Name 2 animals pictured on any of the trail signage anywhere along the trail.
2. Go to the cache location and find those answers.
3. While you're searching, make up two(2) new questions of your own.
4. Come back, log your answers, and post your two new questions to the log for the next cacher!
