Ere wie ere toekomt. Deze cache is oorspronkelijk geplaatst door Bart V.H. in mei 2001, en door ons geadopteerd in januari 2005.
Vroeger bestond een deel van het plezier en de uitdaging bij deze cache er uit om de juiste weg te vinden in dit gebied, dat rijkelijk van beken en paadjes voorzien is die niet op de stafkaart staan. Door werken in april 2019 echter kan de cache nu enkel nog vanuit noordelijke richting benaderd worden. Dit betekent wel dat er een kleine beek moet overgestoken worden (breedte ± 1.2 m).
Voor het voortbestaan van deze cache: respecteer aub de lokale landbouwers, en ga niet vanuit zuidelijke richting door de (omheinde) weilanden naar de cache!
Voor degenen die een risico niet uit de weg gaan: breng misschien wat reservekledij mee. Of anders laarzen. Veel geluk!
Let's give credit where credit is due. This cache was originally placed by Bart V.H. in May 2001. We adopted it in January 2005.
In the past, part of the fun and the challenge with this cache was to find the right way to approach it, as the area has many small brooks and paths that are not on the topographic maps. Due to works in April 2019, the cache can now only be approached from the north. This also means that you have to cross a small brook (± 1.2 m wide).
In order to be able to maintain this cache: please respect the local farmers and don't approach the cache from the south through the fenced grassland.
For those of you who are not afraid to take some risks: bring some spare clothes. Or boots. Good luck!
