This is a multicache, there is one "leg" which will give you the
location of the final cache. The final cache is to be moved by each
finder.
There is a small parking lot of the Palo Marsh Natural Area, at
N42.04.580 W91.47.725. New, To get to the first part you
should follow the main trail to where it forks. Take the left fork,
the first stage with be to your left. There is no need to bushwhack
to this part, doing so will likely just attract bugs and throns
anyways :D.
- To claim a find on this cache you
must:
- Find the leg, and sign in the logbook, and take a garbage
bag.
- Use the garbage bag to collect* any trash you see while seeking
the final cache.
- Locate, retrieve, and relocate the final cache(of course
signing its log as well), but keep the cache inside Marsh's
boundaries.
- After rehiding the cache in a new spot,(not just moving the
next tree) take a waypoint for the cache's new location.
- Return to the leg cache and write the the new location in the
leg's log.
- Claim a find here, and post a hint** in your online
log.
* Just so we're clear, you are expected to collect any trash
you see. If you're somehow able to avoid all the bits of refuse,
then you may replace the bag back in the leg. But that probly will
not happen, unfortuantly. For the other 99 of you that did find
some trash, please take it with you and dispose of properly.
** Only a hint for the final should be posted to the cache page,
but not its coords! Emailing a copy of the coords to the
cache owner is NOT required.
Caution: This cache is in or near a
public hunting are. Please use extra care if you choose to go
geocaching during open hunting season. Iowa's popular shotgun deer
seasons are ususally the first 3 or so weeks of Decemeber, but the
specific dates vary from year to year LINK
