Cache created in 2002. This virtual cache is located in the beautiful Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC. I would have loved to place a regular cache here but I don't think that they would have appreciated it.
If you are in the Seattle, Wa. area, and like gardens or just want to visit a very nice island, then the trip to Victoria is well worth the effort. A ferry can be caught in Port Angeles, Wa. The Victoria Express is at N. 48-25.321 W. 123-22.454.....,................................. . . At the coordinates of N. 48-33.904 . W. 123-28.085 you will find a bronze statue of a boar. The origional statue is in Florence, Italy. If you rub the snout of this statue, it is suppose to bring you luck. Amazing to watch people actually do this, but what can it hurt? Please answer this question: "The Little Pig", was first cast by Pietro Tacca in what year? ...Please post a picture of the pig with part of your group in it, and at least one other picture of the gardens.
