This delightful cache is in a hidden nature park just a couple of miles off I-80.
This ammo-box cache filled with lots of nice goodies is located in a city Park. There is free parking outside the Park entrance (N41 40.218 W091 30.115). It is an easy walk to the cache, and a nice gravel-covered trail most of the way, but be alert to exposed tree roots. Lying less than 2 miles from I-80 exit, it loves to host travel bugs. There are two newly-constructed city roads (take one, then turn onto the other) leading to the cache. If you can find these brand new roads they will make this cache a quick easy drive off I-80. Because the streets are so new they will not come up on your GPS autoroute. Called “Cache as Cache Can,” it is one of four Nielsen Family Caches. Others are “Cache Me If You Can” in Boston, MA, “Caching Toddler, Hidden Tupperware” in Cleveland, OH, and “Planezz, Trainzz, and Automobilezz” in Salt Lake City, UT
