Another in my bi-monthly series of morning get-togethers, which aim to be within a few miles of the River Erewash, the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. All geocachers are welcome, for an hour of chat, the sharing of ideas (especially over troublesome puzzles!), the exchange of trackables, and anything to do with our hobby.
A town centre location again, but this time the town is Ilkeston and the venue is a cafe we've not tried before. It is called The Project, and can be found at 102 Bath Street (DE7 8FE). The cafe does a limited range of food (but that includes a full breakfast and breakfast rolls), and they are likely to be short-staffed so please don't expect super fast service. But there's plenty of room, and the venture is connected to the town's food bank and also operates as a second hand shop. As always, there is no obligation to buy any food or drink.
There's no shortage of car parking in the town centre, and I have waypointed the three nearest council car parks - they're pay and display, but parking is only £1.00 for three hours.
