Reaping rubbish and Repairing refuge
Parking: There are lots of options for parking, see the relevant waypoints. Rea Lane is very narrow and so if you would prefer not to worry about parking then Sims Lane may be easier, if a bit of a longer walk to get to the meeting point. If you do attempt Rea Lane and find both suggested parking areas are full then you will need to park further up the lane and walk down.
Where: Find us at the meeting point for 1000, see trail ahead waypoint or follow the track to the given coords.
What: Join us collecting rubbish from around the site (old tree guards etc) - the headline coordinates take you to the top of the site we will be making our way along the path collecting rubbish as we go along. We will also be doing some maintenance on the shed (see provided waypoint) - patching broken bits, a coat of shed paint and fitting some guttering. I will post an announcement when we are ready to move on to the shed.
How: The warden will be there providing guidance, please do bring your own gloves if you have them, plus any tools you think may help with the task in hand!
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Gloucester County Council insurance as long as you are working under the warden's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments and lunch.
Please do drop by if you have any time to spare, your help is invaluable.
