From Geocaching HQ: When a well-designed geocache makes us smile with delight, it can feel like magic. With that spirit in mind, we’re excited to announce Maker Magic, a celebration of creative cache hides that may inspire you to create a wonderful new cache of your own.
The geocaching community is invited to host Maker Magic events between June 13–July 3, 2023. Anyone who logs an “Attended” at a registered Maker Magic event will earn a special souvenir!
Join HMPS Seekers in their "magic garage" for a tour of how Paul comes up with his creations and then make your own with materials and tools from the "magic garage"! As supplies and materials are limited, please bring any of your own to use as well.
The Build A Cache Workshop takes place on Sunday 25th June 2023 from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Tea, coffee, squash, water and biscuits will be available.
The idea is to hopefully leave with a custom cache container that you can hide where you feel it's suitable. Tools will be made available but are for use by 18+ only.
There will be seating and cover available in case of inclement weather.
