Welcome to Blue Switch 2023. What is the Blue Switch you ask? Blue Switch Day is held on May 2 each year and celebrates when the US Government 'flipped the switch' and made high-accuracy GPS available to everyone back in 2000. If it wasn't for the Switch, geocaching may never have been invented and we would have nothing to do but sit at home and stare at the walls. Earn the Blue Switch Day 2023 souvenir by finding a geocache, Adventure Lab, or by attending an Event between May 1–3. So let's celebrate with an event.
May 2nd happens to be on a Tuesday this year, so we all know what that means...TACO TUESDAY! Once you arrive at the aforementioned coordinates, you will notice a large structure that could very easily satisfy your craving for the most wonderful of Mexican foods. Let's congregate in the outdoor seating area (weather permitting) between 6:30pm - 7:30pm and swap caching stories, lies, and plan new geoadventures while simultaneously enjoying tacos AND earning a souvenir. Everybody wins!
