Geocache Description:

Michigan Trails GeoArt - 223
(Clinton River Trail - Bike 01)

First I would like to pass along a great big Thank You to Tomas Diaz for coming up with the layout for this awesome Geo Art. I asked if he had an easy way for me to lay this Geo Art out and he volunteered to do it for me.

Thank You Tomas!

Important: The caches are not hidden at the posted coords.

The Clinton River Trail is a 15 mile long, paved and graavel hike/bike trail that runs through Oakland County. This is a Geo Art series of caches hidden along this trail.

I have tried to keep the amount of Micro size caches along this trail to a minimum but there are a few. The vast majority of the caches along the trail are small size caches. The containers are mainly sports drink bottles tied with string to trees or bushes. The log container inside is a 15ml DNA sample tube for added protection. The log is water resistant outdoor use paper rolled up on an aluminum rod.

I am asking that if you plan on finding the caches along this trail to please bring a few sports drink bottle caps with you to replaced any of the caps that may be missing. I can’t mention the brands of sports drink bottles that I use on the trail but some start with the letter “G” and those caps are orange, those come in two sizes. The others are sports drink bottles that have a two-word name starting with “P” and an “A”, those caps are black.

I have tried to hide the caches so they can’t easily be seen by the people walking the trail. So if you get to the cache and it is hanging on the front side of the tree or bush facing the trail please tuck it back behind and away from the trail again. Please don’t untie or move the caches to a new location.

If you have any questions about caching this trail, please feel free to text me any questions you have @ Geocaching Messenger.

I hope you enjoy the caches along the trail
