A very strenuous hike with incredible views to a virtual
cache!
This virtual cache is located at 10,072' and requires traversing
the Muir snowfield. Depending upon the conditions, you may need an
ice axe and/or various other climbing gear and the skill to use
them. Altogether, it's a 9 mile hike. The cache is located 4,672'
above the trailhead. If the weather is clear, you will be treated
to a most incredible view of the Tatoosh range, Mt Adams, Mt St
Helens, Mt Hood and possibly Mt Jefferson.
Please plan carefully and equip yourself properly before
attempting this cache.

longer in existence, please instead locate the handicapped sign at
the same coordinates. (yes, there is a reason and story behind
it)
If you visited camp Muir attempting this while the original sign
was missing, a simple picture of you in the area will suffice. The
point of this cache is to enjoy the trek and visit to Camp
Muir.
