Mongolian barbecue 蒙古烤肉; (Měnggǔ kǎoròu) is a stir-fried dish developed by Wu Zhaonan in 1951 in Taiwan. Meat and vegetables are cooked on round, solid iron griddles at temperatures of up to 572 °F. Despite its name, the dish is not Mongolian and is only loosely related to barbeque.
That being said...
If you weren't aware, some local geocachers have been meeting up and enjoying food, drinks, and conversation at BBQ joints once a month in and around the greater Charlotte area. For the month of March, I've decided to put a slight spin on the 'BBQ' concept.
Let's meet at this location from 2-4pm on March 11th and swap geocaching stories, lies, and maybe discuss plans for future events and gatherings. All geocachers, no matter your skill level are encouraged to attend. Reconnect with old friends, make some new ones, and have some fun. No purchase necessary to attend. Hope to see everyone there.
(It's still technically BBQ, right?)
