Green Thursday Woodland Day @ Gomm's Wood Cache In Trash Out Event

If you go down to the woods today...you'll be cutting, stacking and have a bonfire!

The minibus will be running as usual for anybody who wishes to get a lift from the Lido car park (The Rye, High Wycombe). The bus will leave at 10:00 promptly.

Alternatively, you can meet us on site at 10:00 at Cock Lane Cemetery. Parking is available. The nearest postcode is HP13 7EA.

Important! In order to track numbers please also register for this session via Eventbrite. If you are booking for more than one person please make sure you book one ticket for each person to ensure we bring enough tools for everyone.

The task:

On Thursday, we will be spending the morning clearing the scrub to help diversify the woodland for wildlife. Expect lots of cutting, stacking log piles and also we hope to have a bonfire!

What to bring:

• Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task - long trousers are advisable as there is thorny vegetation.

• We will bring a tea kit and biscuits!

Volunteering and COVID-19:

Please do not attend sessions if you have tested positive for COVID or if you have COVID symptoms e.g. a new continuous cough, a high temperature, a loss of, or change in your normal sense of taste or smell.
