Geocache Description:

There is nothing hidden at the posted coordinates. You must solve the puzzle below to determine the coordinates of the cache. While you are here at the posted coordinates, depending on the hours, you could get a coffee drink for your road trip.

You will be seeking an official geocaching.com Waterproof Match Case - Green. Inside is a zip log and a r-i-r log. Please be careful in your search as there may be many muggles around.

Nearly 16 years ago I started caching with my mother and father. Then I had about a 3,000 day gap of finds. Around 5 years ago I started caching again with my daughter. In the last year I've found about 750 caches and solved about 75 puzzles. I created and launched a few puzzles over the last few months and I've been thinking a lot about my favorite puzzles and ideas for making something for other cachers. This cache is the first in what I hope is a series of caches throughout the winter of 2023. Be sure to save the bonus information from the geochecker for the winter season finale. On with the show...

On the road… again…

I’ve traveled a lot, for work and for fun. A lot of time was on my own and sometimes with friends. Here are some of my adventures over the years.

My very first road trip was from New Hampshire to New York. I loved going through Vermont. It was tough to push myself away from the great seafood in Portsmouth, but I had to get to East Greenbush and I had to get there by 4.

Work then brought me to Newark for a couple strange meetings with MBB and immediately after things were discussed, I was on my way to Cincinnati.

The trip from Norwalk to Highgate Springs was dwarfed by most others in my journal.

Sometime later I celebrated independence in Chattanooga with a need to catch-up with friends in Wrightsville Beach, a few options were presented and I went via Columbia.

I was invited to Brownsville to get going on a road trip to Sioux City, it seemed like luck and luck again.

I got sick a couple times as I drove from Bishop to Provincetown. I had a full recovery, and then left one coastal town (Pensacola) and headed for another, making it to Ellicott City, this time running the distance with Logan before it was too late.

I left Forest Lake in the morning and made it to Norway (not the country) in exactly one work day.

Finally, I found myself in Oroville with a strong desire to visit Weed. It made me think about the victim of who ate who.

All this driving around made me just want to go home and find a geocache or two. Good thing I kept a journal of my journey so I would know where to start. In my notes I realized there were always two ways to get where I was going. I just have to find my keys.
