An easy walk in a clear forest along a river. The complete trip is about 6km (go and back)
The best way to appreciate this quiet trip along the small chanel named "La rigole" is to take D408 from SAISSAC and park just after the small bridge over the channel (N43°23.0533 E2°12.1323). Take the path following the channel until its end at "La prise d'Alzeau" (N43°23.7541 E2°13.5639). This channel take the water of the river Alzeau to supply the "Canal du Midi".
Now, the hunt can begin ! Come back a little and take the footh path on your left (Some wood blocks on the ground show the begining of it).
Appreciate the silence of the forest with only the song of the river...
The cache is a white plastic box containing initially:
a logbook, a pencil, a pencil-sharpener, a plush pingouin and a small plastic dog.
When you have done your job with the cache, continue the path to west to come back to your car.
Of course, you can go directly to the cache from any car park (at the bridge on D408 or "prise d'Alzeau". See coordonates above), but you will certainly lost some wonderfull moments...
