Keška je součástí CQ série 43 kešek v 8 evropských státech, šest z nich se nachází v České republice, zbylé pak v Německu, Maďarsku, Slovensku, Bulharsku, Rumunsku, Litvě a Lotyšsku. V České republice vás tato série zavede na zajímavá místa, která se dotýkají klimatické změny.
Český ráj je malebnou krajinou plnou lesů a rybníků, která je mimo jiné ideální lokalitou pro pozorování ptactva. V části nadregionálního biokoridoru spojující dvě hlavní části CHKO se nicméně již od roku 2002 plánuje stavba silnice dálničního typu, která může místní krajinný ráz zcela změnit.
Místo, na kterém stojíte je jedním z mnoha v České republice, kde se o podobných stavbách uvažuje, probíhají nebo už stojí, a které mají za následek intenzivnější využívání aut. Rostoucí přepravní objemy na silnicích jsou fenoménem několika posledních desítek let. Doprava (celkově) je po energetice na druhém místě v žebříčku emisí látek (např. oxid uhličitý, pevné prachové částice, polyaromatické uhlovodíky) nebezpečných jak pro zdraví, tak pro životní prostředí a zemské klima.

Stavby silnic a dálnic také mění vzhled krajiny a mají na svědomí její fragmentaci. Pro výstavbu nebo rekonstrukce infrastruktury se zabírá velice potřebná zemědělská půda a v blízkosti staveb dochází k její kontaminaci. Dopravní sítě představují obrovské bariéry pro zvířata v jejich migračních koridorech za potravou a rozmnožováním. Silniční sítě způsobují i hluk a vibrace, které se v dlouhodobém horizontu projevují zvýšeným stresem a narušeným psychickým zdravím lidí i zvířat.
Přispět ke zlepšení situace lze na několika úrovních, kromě šetrného plánování těchto staveb je velice důležitá i podpora a vyšší investice do modernizace železnic a jiných druhů udržitelné mobility.

Bohemian Paradise is a picturesque landscape full of forests and ponds, which is, among other things, an ideal location for bird watching. However, in the part of the supra-regional biocorridor, connecting the two main parts of the protected landscape area, the construction of a highway-type road has been planned since 2002, which can completely change the local scenery.
The place where you are standing is one of many in the Czech Republic, where similar constructions are being considered, underway or already standing, and which cause more intensive use of cars. Growing transport volumes on roads have been a phenomenon of the last few decades. Transport (overall) ranks second after energy industry in terms of emissions of substances (e.g. carbon dioxide, solid dust particles, polyaromatic hydrocarbons) that are dangerous both for health and for the environment and the earth's climate.
Visualization of the highway
The construction of roads and highways also changes the appearance of the landscape and is responsible for its fragmentation. Much-needed agricultural land is occupied for the construction or reconstruction of infrastructure and contamination of the surrounding soil occurs. In addition, transport networks present huge barriers to animals in their migration corridors for food and reproduction. Last but not least, the negative factors of road networks are also noise and vibrations, which in the long term are manifested by increased stress and disturbed psychological health of people and animals.
It is possible to contribute to improving the situation on several levels. In addition to careful planning of these constructions, support and higher investments in the modernization of railways and other types of sustainable mobility are also very important.
