River Lookout (Canterbury) Traditional Geocache
Sallies: Decided to archive this cache after recent comments. It is a very long way to come to check on it. We will pick up the remains next time we are out this way. Thanks to all the finders over the eighteen years it has been there! Perhaps someone else could hide one at this beautiful spot. Rodney and Iris.

This area is a popular picnic spot beside a camping ground and river. The track leads out from the uppermost picnic area and is about a 15 minute return walk.
The cache is a 500ml camo painted snap-lock container.
This is an easy stroll - the cache has been relocated just before the River Lookout spot. You don't have to go past any hazard signs. (The original track has been shut off even though its condition has not changed at all! We think it must be because a couple who were out walking in this area fell off the cliff earlier this year.)
The cache is now a very easy find and is located very close to the track.
