P: Com esta cache quero mostrar-lhe uma gruta enorme que encerra uma pequena capela dentro dela.
Numerosas grutas arenosas existem no sopé das escarpas calcárias da Serra da Arrábida. A serra abunda de caves e grutas. A mais conhecida é a Lapa de Santa Margarida, sobre a qual Hans Christian Andersen escreveu, "It is a veritable church hewn out of the living rock, with a fantastic vault, organ pipes, columns, and altars." (acho que ele não escrevia em português...)
Tente visitar a gruta pela manhã quando a luz do sol é mais brilhante. De qualquer modo, precisará de lanterna.

E: With this cache I want to show you a huge cave that holds a little church inside it.
Numerous sandy caves lie at the foot of the Serra de Arrábida's limestone cliffs. The serra (mountain) abounds with caves and grottoes. The best known is Lapa de Santa Margarida, of which Hans Christian Andersen wrote, "It is a veritable church hewn out of the living rock, with a fantastic vault, organ pipes, columns, and altars."
Try to visit the cave in the morning, when the daylight is brighter. However, you will need a lamp .
The hunt
Comece na estrada para o "Portinho da Arrábida", em frente ao "Lar de Ferias da Casa do Gaiato" (um centro de férias para crianças órfãs).
Caminhe cerca de 20 metros em direcção ao "Casal de Santa Margarida". Vire à esquerda onde verá um caminho com degraus largos no início. Siga o caminho até ao fim. Virará à esquerda e à direita e descerá alguns degraus... vá até ao fim.
No fim encontrará a entrada. O GPSr não obterá qualquer sinal dentro dela. Entre na gruta descendo cerca de 20 degraus. Visite a gruta, a pequena capela em frente, as ramificações à esquerda e á direita da gruta, os buracos que permitem passagem para o mar (cuidado...), explore o espaço por detrás da capela, veja os fósseis nas paredes... esteja à vontade explorando esta enorme gruta!
Quando se sentir satisfeito, vá à caça. A cache está fora da gruta onde terá um satisfatório sinal (EPE 5 metros no momento da aquisição das coordenadas).
E: Start in the road to "Portinho da Arrabida", in front of "Lar de Ferias da Casa do Gaiato" (a vacation center for kids without parents).
Walk about 20 metres in direction of "Casal de Santa Margarida". Turn left where you see a pedestrian track with steps far away from each other at beginning. Follow that track until its end. You'll turn left and right and step down some steps... go until the end.
At the end you'll find the cave entrance. The GPS doesn't receive any signal inside it. Enter the cave stepping down about 20 steps. Visit the cave, the little church in front, the ramifications of the cave at right/front, the holes at left that permits passage to the sea (be careful...), explore the space behind the church, watch the fossils on the walls... take your time exploring this huge cave!
When you feel yourself satified, go to the hunt. The cache is outside the cave where you have a fairly good signal (EPE 5 metres at the moment of coordinates. acquisition).
