I thought it was time for a monthly meet in the Newark & District area. Many other places have monthly meets, so why not Newark?
These events will move from place to place each month and the timings will also change. This is to reflect my availability with the events fitting around the shift system I work. The locations the events are held will be within the area I place geocaches in. Some will be in Newark and some will be in the District, hence the name.
So, event #9.

UPDATE on 22nd Sept: Unfortunately, the new owners of the pub have confirmed it will re-open on Fri 7th October. Therefore, I have moved this event to the village hall. We'll be putting on tea, coffee and biscuits for everyone. And then hopefully before the end of the year, we can have an event at the pub!
The Willow Tree is our local and has been closed since 20 March 2020. Since then, it has changed hands and has had a full re-fit. At the time of writing this (15 August), it is due to open at the end of September. So, our geocaching event visit will be as new an experience for us as it is for you! I don't know if food will be available at this time, but will update this listing as and when I know. This event is also different to the usual Newark & District events but it is so timed to coincide with the end of my CITO, also in and around the village.
Please bring along any trackables you may have and they will always be able to find another cacher to carry on their journey.
