We planned a visit to the Scottish Highlands two years ago. Unfortunately, a pandemic intervened.
But now the time has come: Mr Ankuss4 is ready to conquer the mountain and hopes that other cachers will accompany him :).
Hopefully the planned time will suit everyone. You can complete the three caches on the summit before the event or after the event :).
A small German (international?) tradition is to be cultivated for this event:
When you have conquered a mountain peak, you like to reward yourself with a "summit beer". Now, unfortunately, there is no pub on Ben Nevis. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity: The first five event participants who register their wish will be presented with a German beer at the summit, with which we can toast together.
Annotation:
This is a mixture of beer and lemonade, which is called "gespritztes Bier" in our area. So it doesn't contain much alcohol, so the descent and also a subsequent car journey should not be affected
