What: Come down, bring a picnic (cake always welcome), bring a chair and celebrate International Geocaching Day 2022!

Why: There is a world record attempt to break, which can earn you an additional souvenir! And oh yeah, socialising!
When: Saturday 20th August 2022 - 2pm to 3:30pm (But we all know this will likely go on longer!)

What’s the record we’re trying to break?
We’re trying to break the record for most explorers (geocachers and adventurers) logging a cache find, Adventure Location, or Event in a single day. Our goal is to break the record on International Geocaching Day, August 20, 2022, which is also the same day as the Geocaching 20th Anniversary Celebration Event. The current record is 126,833 explorers and it was set on August 11, 2013.
