Welcome to SideTracked Day 2022 - this event is being held to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the SideTracked Series.
The location of this oudoor event is on the grass area on the corner of the junction of Upgang Lane and Station Avenue in Whitby. At the south west end of Station Avenue is the former Whitby West Cliff railway station. The station opened in December 1883 and closed in June 1961. The main buildings on the southbound platform were later converted into private dwellings named Beechings Mews. The name is slightly ironic as the station closed 2 years before the publcation of Dr. Beeching's report - 'The Reshaping of British Railways'
Car Parking is available in nearby streets but please be aware Saturday 13th June is the first day of the Whitby Regetta weekend.
