OKIC PICNIC - 22nd ANNUAL
The OKIC Picnic was first held on August 26, 2001, in Embshoff Park as a way to annually bring "Greater Cincinnati Area" geocachers together, it is now in its 22nd year and credited as the 2nd oldest annual Geocaching event in the world! With this said we want to have anyone and everyone come out to the picnic this summer and join in on the festivities. You do not need to be a member to join us, as we want all cachers new and old to come out and enjoy.

Event Summary
Location: Sharon Woods - Fern Hollow Shelter
Address: 3700 Park 42 Dr, Sharonville, OH 45241 (This is the park Entrance, Follows the signs to the event)
Date/Time: Sunday, July 31,2022 12pm - 3pm
Parking: Parking is available at the shelter.
Park Fees: The park entrance fee is waived for all members of our group. When you pull up to the entry gate say you are here for the OKIC Picnic. It should be as simple as that.
Restroom: Restrooms are located a short walk away (Estimated 600ft)
Food: We will provide hot dogs and burgers and a grill or two to make whatever else you would like. The rest is entirely potluck! Please bring a dish to share if you plan to eat. If you do not feel comfortable sharing a dish, please bring your own meal and eat with us! ***Please note in your log how many are in your party and what you are bringing so others can plan and adjust accordingly.***
SCHEDULE:
- 12:00 pm - Arrive, Socialize, Let's Eat!
- 2:30 pm - OKIC Info, Voting, Elections, and other updates.
- 3 pm - Event End (or when the last person leaves)
Other Event Information
OKIC Group information updates and steering committee board member elections will take place as we are eating.
Everyone, geocachers, and non-geocachers are welcome to attend! Have questions about what Geocaching is? Who OKIC is? Come check out the event!
***Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are asking that if you have a current, positive infection, or any of the symptoms of infection - regardless of vaccination status - (click HERE for the most up-to-date CDC information) to please DO NOT ATTEND the event. There is plenty of room for social distancing, mask-wearing is encouraged (though not required) in large groups, and OKIC will have hand sanitizer at multiple stations for use.***
