Welcome to First Thursdays in Columbia (FTIC)! Please note new location this month.
This is a monthly event on the first Thursday of every month in Columbia, Maryland. Everyone is welcome! We've been sharing caching stories together at this event since June 2017.
We use this event to meet fellow cachers, plan trips, recommend caches, give tips, and just enjoy each other's company. This month, we will be meeting on Thursday, July 7th from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.
Please note new location this month. The construction that caused us to relocate a few months ago has now reached that new location. We will meet this month in a nice area near Whole Foods Market off of Broken Land Parkway. There is a nearby parking garage in case of rain.
There are a number of outdoor benches to sit on in the gathering area, but you may want to bring a chair. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
If you are hungry, there is a good variety of fast food restaurants in the food court in the Mall and around the Mall for all tastes and desires.
IMPORTANT: Attendees should follow all current guidelines regarding mask/face coverings to protect others, and practice social distancing guidelines. Let's be respectful and help keep each other feeling comfortable and safe. Please check the current COVID situation in Howard County before attending, as things have been changing rapidly recently.
