OnABoat and Handyman & Fam couldn't make it to the kayak trail kickoff event, so we decided to host our own event, a couple weeks later.
We will meet at the posted coordinates from 9:30 until 10:00am. After the meet and greet, some of us will be kayaking and caching down the Manistee. We will have at least one vehicle downstream at the Burnt Cabin waypoint to chauffer kayakers back to their vehicles.
All are welcome, even if you don't plan on enjoying the river for the day.
A recreation passport is needed for parking at either location.
Float time is about 3.5 to 4 hours. With caching it will take longer.
